Gentle tides nurture an inexhaustible source of marine life, a food chain from benthic and baitfish through trout and salmon to sea lions and austral dolphins. Each day boating out from the lodge to a new wade able river is an adventure, a challenge to a virgin fishing destination where you can breathe in peace.
Here, the abundant food supply in both fresh and saltwater causes all brown, rainbow trout and silver salmon, to thrive. They are, in size, shape, and fight, essentially sea-run browns and summer steelhead. The salmon make their spawning runs just as their native waters. Such histories make the rivers at once predictable and mysterious.
